Office attraction

I really like this girl from HR department, but I have two problems.1she has a boyfriend and 2 she only dates guys 2 years around her age. I forgot to mention she's 26 and I'm 31 years old. We talk about a lot of stuff that are non-work stuff like what's going on in each other's lives. I make her smile.I like her smile all the time. But she's always reinforcing that she has someone else on her life aka a boyfriend. Before I knew she had one I had stalled a couple of times to ask her out. I even ask a couple of really good friends of mine Tarik and Catalino about if I should ask her out for a drink. Both of them told me you don't shit where you eat, actually that's what my boss John told me when I told him that some ladies love my new short hair cut. But pretty much they all agree that dating at the job could cause more of a pain then its worth. But I feel what if it is worth the hard work I mean with anything good in life you have to work on it.
